Deviants: Fight Club is a new TON-powered tap to earn game that can be played as a free to play title on mobile devices via Telegram (no desktop support). The PvP-focused blockchain game is powered by transmedia gaming universe Astra Nova and accelerated by Notcoin and Helika, who launched a $50 million accelerator earlier this year.
In this play to earn game, currently available in an open alpha state, each player starts off with an in-game companion referred to as a Deviant, that you can use to engage in 1v1 PvP tapping battles. Every Deviant comes with the following 4 stats: HP, Max Energy, Power, Restore. You can increase these by leveling them up, which you do by gaining XP from battles. Alternatively, it’s also possible to upgrade a specific stat to the maximum level by spending $TON. If you want to try and get better characters to battle with, then you might want to use Shards to upgrade your Incubator, making it possible to have Deviants that start off with higher Max Energy and Restore stats.
How to Play to Airdrop in Deviants: Fight Club
To successfully play to airdrop in this new web3 game, you need to climb the PvP leaderboard, which ranks players based on account level and the total amount of XP collected from winning matches. It looks like the highest-ranked players will be airdropped $RVV Shards, which you will be able to convert into actual $RVV tokens in the future. There is a section in-game where you can connect your TON Wallet in order to “secure your Shardsâ€. Use the best Deviant that you have to play fast-paced matches every day in order to try and collect as much XP as you can. Even losses give you XP, but wins of course give you way higher quantities, while Shards are only earned when winning.
The goal in each match is to defeat your opponent’s Deviant by clicking on designated circles appearing at random parts of the screen. The faster and more accurate you are, and the better Power stat of your Deviant, the more damage you deal per hit. While each match has a 2-minute timer, they pretty much end in a couple of seconds, making it easy to rack up a large number of matches every day, earning 100 XP per win. You also do seem to be adequately matched by opponents playing with Deviants that have similar stats, making your tapping skills the crucial component to emerging victorious.
