Immutable-powered 2D open world MMORPG Farmine Land is hosting an NFT Land sale on Thursday, August 29th at 2 PM UTC, and you have a chance of participating by winning a Whitelist Pass while supply still remains!
NFT Sale Structure Details & How to Participate
The sale will take place on a dedicated page on the gameâs official website, which is linked in a recent X announcement, and will give eligible users a chance to buy up to 2 Lands per wallet using USDT on the Polygon network. This sale has only 594 Lands up for grabs across 2 or possibly 3 rounds: OG, Whitelist, and Public.
There will be 3 different rarities of Land up for grabs: Small (100 USDT), Medium (230 USDT), and Large (500 USDT). You will be able to choose which one to buy, if supply for that rarity remains. A total of 270 Small Lands will be available to mint, with the supply for the Medium rarity being 216 NFTs, while only 108 Large Lands will be available. While you can choose the rarity during the sale, you wonât know what your land actually looks like until after the sale when youâll be able to open the minted chest. This means that supply is actually further divided by biomes, of which there are 3, but you wonât know which biome your land has until after the sale when you open your chest.
OG Round
The OG phase is a guaranteed round designated to early supporters, so anyone who was lucky to be among the 100 wallets handpicked by the team will be able to buy up to 2 NFTs at a 10% discount without worrying about total supply running out, though the supply for Large Lands could theoretically run out if enough wallets buy 2 Large Lands instead of only one.
Whitelist Round
If you missed out on getting in on the OG 6-hour round, then you still have a chance, at least at the time of writing, to take part in the 24-hour FCFS Whitelist round. To do so, simply head to the Quest page and complete 5 social tasks, 3 of which are for X and 2 for Discord. If you successfully do so, you will be able to claim the Whitelist Round Pass on Polygon, granting you a spot for the second round of this NFT sale. This Whitelist Round Pass comes in limited quantity, and as such is being rewarded on a first come, first served basis. At the time of writing, only 185 Whitelist Round Passes remain.
As for the Whitelist round itself though, given that there have been multiple Whitelist campaigns up to this point, there is already over 3000 wallets with a secured whitelist spot according to the official wiki, meaning that this sale could very much quickly end in this second round. In the event that there is still any remaining supply after 24 hours, then the sale will enter the Public round to give anyone a chance at becoming a landowner.
NFT Land Utility
Aside from coming in significantly limited supply, everyone who mints a chest containing a random NFT Land will be able to reveal their plot after the sale ends by opening the minted chest in the âMy Lands NFTâ section of the gameâs official website. This is when you will be able to find out which of the 3 biomes your land has. Your land will either belong to the Winter, Tropical, or Desert biome.
In Farmine Land, NFT Lands are designed to generate more than 80% of the gameâs total resource production, making them a considerable part of the game for players to care and maintain. Their size depends on rarity as previously mentioned, and their size influences the number of slots the plot has. All lands however have the same resources, meaning they all have the same 4 types of slots: Harvest Slots, Plant Slots, Mining Slots, and Livestock Slots. Production however is said to differ based on rarity.
Land Size | Harvest Slots | Plant Slots | Mining Slots | Livestock Slots | Boat Size |
Small | 10 | 6 | 13 | 9 | Common |
Medium | 15 | 24 | 18 | 18 | Common |
Large | 40 | 32 | 28 | 32 | Large |
Every plot also comes with an NPC to give land-related tasks, and while you do have the option to rent out your Land to other players, landowners can also earn from fees generated by players with a LandHelper Pass. Owning a LandHelper Pass is needed for players who want to access Land NFTs owned by other players, which also means that LandHelpers get access to exclusive resources reserved only for them. Becoming a LandHelper also allows you to complete daily tasks that NPCs on these lands give you to help manage the land. The rarer the land, the more LandHelpers it can have, enabling collaborative gameplay where both landowners and LandHelpers are rewarded, as it seems that resources LandHelpers get will be tradable with an in-game currency called Farmine Coin that will eventually be possible to exchange to USDT or USDC. Free to play players may also have a chance of getting items and resources that are needed to maintain Land NFTs.
This is all of the NFT Land utility that seems to have been revealed at the time of writing, with the official wiki page teasing that new features are being developed, so we could possibly see more use cases arrive in the future. According to the roadmap, you can look forward to Farmine Land officially launching by the end of September this year.
